The Azure Window (Maltese: Tieqa Żerqa) is perhaps the Maltese archipelago's most spectacular natural landmark. It features a table-like rock over the sea and is situated near Dwejra Bay. The formation was created after two limestone sea caves collapsed millions of years ago. During winter waves crash high inside the arch.
